The Technology
Geox’s ABX Waterproof System delivers outstanding comfort and protection thanks to a waterproof breathable membrane inserted not only in the sole but also in the top part of the shoe. This technology keeps feet snug and dry in an ideal micro-climate, even in the pouring rain.
How the footwear is tested
Geox’s ABX Waterproof System is tested in our laboratories with advanced machinery to deliver superior performance levels. The water resistance of the membrane is tested by simulating walking action. Furthermore, we test the waterproofness and overall imperviousness of our footwear by subjecting it to centrifugal force and prolonged immersion both statically and dynamically. These simulations, combined with other latest-generation tests, guarantee protection from the elements.
